There are so many better shooters and developers out there. Even die hard M$ fans know Bungie hasn't kept pace with the industry. People have moved on to COD4, Gears of War 2, etc
I'd still give it an a solid compared to what's on the market today.
What happened. I was expecting it to be over-scored even more than a 9.0. M$ please send bigger pay checks for Halo Wars and Gears 3. You've just cause a bunch of Gears fanboys to hit the meds again.

MS only hope has been on their contracts to 3rd party dev's guaranting equal or less performance on the PS3 versions. Bethesda probably got penalized by M$ when ES:IV came out being much better on the PS3.

Perhaps the framerate is slightly better and doesn't tear as much. Or load textures as slowly this time?
Just watch the gameplay videos.. Multiplayer actually has lower quality graphics than Gears 1. We've all seen the comparisons and know it is true.
I'm sure he loved the POS black and white buttons on the OG xbox as well.
